Best areas to find an apartment in Miami

Apartment Hunting

Miami is a city filled with beauty and fun of all varieties, offering everything from the beach to the club to the museum. With all the diversity available to you in the city, it can be hard to choose when looking for a Miami apartment or condo. If you are new to the region or just want to shake things up with a move to a new apartment, here are some of our favorite areas to find an apartment in Miami.

Kendall, Fl

Kendall is one of our favorite suburbs of Miami. While known for its luxury apartments, many shopping and dining options, they also have multiple entertainment options to suit every taste. One of Kenall’s most known landmarks is Dadeland Mall, which is actually one of the nation’s busiest suburban shopping malls.

Love golfing? One little known secret is that Kendall offers many affordable golf courses. Looking for outdoor activities in Miami? You can find a roller rink, an ice skating rink, two skate parks, an arcade, and even an indoor childrens’ playground, all in Kendall.

South Beach

Maybe the best known neighborhood in Miami, South Beach rests between downtown and the Atlantic and is known around the world for its glamour and vivacity. You’ll find an endless list of condos available in or near this neighborhood, giving you easy access to its restaurants, nightclubs and, of course, beach. There can be a good number of tourists around during the busy season in “SoBe”, but pockets of locals are always easy to find, as well, so that you can experience the authentic Miami. South Beach is within a short drive of 95, making it a good locale for commuters, too.

Art Deco District

Actually nestled within SoBe, the Art Deco District has condos scattered throughout single family homes. This neighborhood features a concentration of over 800 Art Deco buildings, making it one of the most aesthetic and stunning parts of the city. Legendary residents of this neighborhood include Italian designer, Gianni Versace.

Downtown Miami

Offering a best of all worlds scenario, Downtown Miami is quickly becoming the go-to residential area for those in the know. This neighborhood offers easy access to South Beach and the airports, as well as a short daily drive for those who work in the city. This burgeoning area features beautiful new loft constructions and condos, a wide range of restaurants and cultural moments like the Wynwood Second Saturday gallery walk. If you want a combination of culture and convenience, downtown Miami may be the neighborhood for you.

Brickell

The financial center of Miami, Brickell is located on the south end of the Miami River. Brickell Village has a vibrant shopping area and regularly hosts events, such as Super Bowl watch parties or movie nights.
